The Parks & Recreation Department is a seasonal department. The main efforts of the recreation program center around Chippewa Park on Klein Street. Chippewa Park offers baseball/softball fields, various playground equipment and picnic pavilions. They operate the park and a recreational program for summer events. They are presently preparing to expand the program to include year round recreation.

Brady's Run Park is a 478 acre recreational facility provided by Beaver County. The park is situated in both Chippewa Township and neighboring Brighton Township. The park features indoor and outdoor tennis courts, picnic pavilion areas, fishing, boating, ball fields, walking/hiking trails, and a rifle range. Also horseshoe pits are available for recreation use.

There is an ice arena in the park which offers both ice skating and hockey and a indoor walking track.
